As you shop the net for supplements see the if the web site uses the word "Miracle" or uses any "Featured on TV!" references. If so, exercise your better judgment and move on, because you are being pitched.
Contrast that approach to one that instead makes use of referenced scientific/university studies that have been published in peer reviewed journals.
